Almere Pampus 2
A continuous nature bank under a road bridge, connecting the banks on both sides of the road. This allows animals to continue their route along the water. You can see martens, otter, fox and hedgehog here. As well as waterfowl.
marten climbs fence on left side of image. Anyone idea to properly name tree/stone martens? the images are not so great that I can see the distinction so by default appoint all martens as tree martens. Or can you know by the location of the cam that e.g. only stone or tree martens occur there?
Also think marten, in this case more likely a pine marten... distinction in cases like this for me is the coloration of the fur because otherwise you can't see anything else.
Probably a marten. A pine marten, to my knowledge, has a fuller tail and I didn't see that easily.
This is a tree marten because a stone marten is lighter in color
