Pine marten
I still think the ears point pretty far outward, to the side and not forward. They also do not rise that high above the head, and in that sense they are a bit small anyway.
I'm going for a stone marten.
I keep finding it hard to tell the pine marten and the stone marten apart! And sometimes even the polecat with it.
